ROCK SPRINGS – After receiving enough write-in votes in the primary, Jason Armstrong announces he will run for the Rock Springs City Council Ward 1 seat in the General Election.
On Tuesday, Armstrong submitted his application for nomination by primary to the Rock Springs City Clerk in Rock Springs for the Ward I seat.
“I am honored and humbled to be a candidate for the November’s General Election,” Armstrong said.
Armstrong said he believes in choice and for voters to have options. Armstrong is a third generation Rock Springs native and wants to continue to move Rock Springs forward in a positive direction.
“Just as competition and choice benefit consumers when it comes to business, I believe the same holds true for voters and politics,” Armstrong said. “I am a third generation Rock Springs native and I am looking forward to getting out there to meet our constituents in these coming months. I feel that my experience in customer service and my education in project management will make me a suitable choice for City Council.”
Armstrong said he is again humbled by the voters who came out to support him. Armstrong thanked voters for the support.
“I also wish to thank all the voters who turned out for the Primary Elections and especially those who chose to write my name in on the ballot,” Armstrong said.
