ROCK SPRINGS – When starting to work out and get healthy, eating habits need to adapt. Learn how to change your eating habits to meet your New Year’s resolutions at an upcoming program at Rock Springs Library.
Fuel for the New You will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21 at the library, 400 C Street in Rock Springs. The class will be taught by Jordan McCoy, a dietician from the University of Wyoming Extension Office.
As people try to follow through on their New Year’s resolutions to exercise more, they don’t always know the best way to eat as they become more active. McCoy’s program will take a look at that. She will talk about hydration, electrolytes, the “Athlete’s Plate,” and rest and sleep. Make sure to bring questions.
Registration for the class is required by noon on Jan. 20. Call Rock Springs Library at 307-352-6667, or drop by to reserve your spot.
