SWEETWATER COUNTY – The Sweetwater County Library System is hosting political forums this month to help the voters learn about candidates before the election on Nov. 4.
The forums cover several county races as well as statehouse races. “We want to help people be informed voters,” said Lindsey Travis, public relations specialist for the library system.
The candidates will have the opportunity to give an opening statement. They will then answer questions from a panel and have the opportunity to give a closing statement. Questions will be taken from the audience if time allows.
