POWELL — The No. 2 ranked Western Wyoming Community College (WWCC) Mustangs opened up the regular season in Powell at the Apodaca Duals on Saturday.

The Mustangs competed in two duals, the first being against Northeastern Junior College (NJC) before wrapping up the day against No. 16 Northwest College (NWC).

Nine total pins were recorded on the day for the Mustangs, which led to an impressive outscoring of their opponents 104-3. WWCC defeated both teams, reinforcing their legitimacy as the second best in the nation.
