NWS: Beautiful if breezy first day of Summer in Sweetwater County

RIVERTON – Expect a few isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms today, mainly across northwestern and east central Wyoming. A few isolated thunderstorms across the east could be strong at times, with gusty winds and small hail possible. Otherwise, expect near normal temperatures for the first full day of summer. Some breezy conditions could return across the south today as well. Shower activity will diminish this evening, except across Johnson and northeastern Natrona counties were chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms will linger through the night. An upper low will bring widespread scattered showers and thunderstorms across much of the forecast area for Saturday, with some stronger storms again possible across the east.
