NWS: Warm day with afternoon thunderstorms in the north

RIVERTON – The continued migration of upper level disturbances across the northern Rockies will persist in keeping a few afternoon thunderstorms across central and northern Wyoming today and Tuesday. Meanwhile increased wildfire risk will be the main concern for Wednesday and Thursday as a strong low pressure system moves onshore in the Pacific Northwest. Features ahead of this system will cause increasing winds that will combine with warm and very dry air across the Cowboy State.
