“Power Up Your Biz” Class Set To Launch March 21

ROCK SPRINGS — The Sweetwater Economic Development Coalition, in partnership with Western Wyoming Community College, Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce, Rocky Mountain Power and Trona Valley Community Federal Credit Union presents a four-week workshop on
how to Power Up Your Business.

The workshop will cover the following topics on the following dates:
▪ March 21st – Customer Service
▪ March 28th – Social Media Management/Branding
▪ April 4th – Online Business Analytics
▪ April 11th – Insurance and Cyber Security

The workshop will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. held at Western Wyoming Community College Rock Springs Campus in room 1408.

The cost for the workshop is a one-time fee of $25.00. Registration can be done by calling (307)-362-3771 or registering on the SEDC’s website at www.sweetwateredc.com.

There will be a limit of 25 participants allowed to participate in this workshop for the four-week program.

Kayla McDonald, Business Development Manager for the SEDC had this to say about the four-week program, “SEDC is excited to be partnering with WWCC, Trona Valley, Rocky Mountain Power and the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce to provide this 4-week training,” McDonald said.

“SEDC’s mission in business retention is to provide resources to help businesses be successful, by having this workshop we will be giving the Sweetwater County Business Community the opportunity to obtain the knowledge of how to grow their businesses, as well as provide the necessary tips to be successful,” she added.

“We encourage anyone who is currently in business or even considering starting their own business this workshop is sure to beneficial tool to all who participate.”

The Power Up Your Biz Workshop will provide tips, resources, and most of all hands-on examples that every business should find beneficial.
