ROCK SPRINGS — The Community Fine Arts Center (CFAC) is hosting an open house Saturday to celebrate its 55th anniversary.
First open on November 6, 1966, the CFAC has been a cultural highlight for both the community and visitors to Rock Springs for 55 years. This has been possible by a long standing agreement and collaboration between Sweetwater County, the City of Rock Springs and Sweetwater County School District No. 1.
To celebrate 55 years, the CFAC is hosting a celebration event and the public is invited to an open house on Saturday, November 6, from 1-4 p.m.
As part of the celebration, several artists and community members have donated art to help support the CFAC Advisory Board’s community efforts and annual scholarship for SCSD No. 1 seniors.
