ROCK SPRINGS – With so much attention on football, concussions and how young is too young to start playing football, many parents are wary to sign their child up. The Rock Springs Parks and Recreation Department are giving parents another option.

The Rock Springs Parks and Recreation Department has extended the deadline to register. The deadline to register for the city’s youth developmental 7-on-7 flag football has been extended to Friday, Sept. 5th. Camp will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 9th at 6:30 p.m. at the Wataha Ballfield Complex.

Team registration needs to be returned with a fee and waiver for each player. Individual registration may be done in person or over the phone. This is for kids in who are in first through third grades. The cost is $30 per child.
