ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs Police Department (RSPD) is hosting a blood drive for community members to participate in.

The blood drive will take place on Wednesday, November 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the downstairs area of the RSPD building, according to a social media post from the RSPD.

Anyone who would like to participate can reach out to Sergeant Amanda Clawson or sign up through Vitalant.org (Blood Drive code: RSPD). Donors must be healthy and wear a mask during the donation process.

The timing is good since a few weeks ago, Vitalant announced a critical blood shortage.
