ROCK SPRINGS — Rose Mosbey has announced her candidacy for Ward IV the full text of the announcement follows:
City Council representative, Rose Mosbey has announced her candidacy for the Rock Springs Ward IV City Council seat. She is a lifelong resident of Sweetwater County, having resided in Rock Springs since 1970. Rose is retired following a 35 year career as a Field Business Supervisor in the oil and gas industry.
Rose currently serves as a trustee on the Memorial Hospital Board, is a commissioner for the State of Wyoming’s Unemployment Insurance Commission, and is the chairman of the credit committee for Sweetwater Federal Credit Union.
Her history of community service in leadership roles includes:
Rock Springs Planning & Zoning Commission, Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Enterprise Committee, Great Divide Economic Development Coalition, Southwest Wyoming Industrial Association and Education Partnership Committee, , and the Southwest Wyoming Mineral Association.
In addition, Rose has been a volunteer for United Way, Southwest Wyoming Resource Rendezvous, International Day, and the Wild Horse and Western Art Show.

If elected, I look forward to addressing these challenges in order to make sure that the citizens of this city continue to receive the best basic services as well as a high quality of life. I have no personal agendas nor do I represent any special interest groups. I will listen to all views, promote policies which wisely invest tax dollars, and generally serve the community in the best interest of its citizens.”
