GREEN RIVER — A week of giving and selfless service came to conclusion during Thursday night’s Make-A-Wish basketball games between Rock Springs High School (RSHS) and Green River High School (GRHS).

Between the two schools, a total of $50,617.94 was raised for Make-A-Wish Wyoming. Rock Springs raised the most with a total $25,670.68 while Green River raised $24,947.26. All money that is raised stays local to help grant wishes.

As part of the finale, the Tigers and Wolves basketball teams faced off for the final time during the regular season.

The Lady Tigers ended up taking a large lead midway through the fourth quarter, which gave them a 49-41 win over the Lady Wolves.

In the boys game, the Wolves built a large lead in the first half and maintained the lead in the second half to win 58-46 over the Tigers.
