Freshman Jamez Taylor was nominated as a Student of the Week by Ms. Jessica DuPuis. Ms. DuPuis said, “I nominated Jamez for standing up for what’s right and not being afraid to speak up to help people. Jamez cares a lot about others and wants to do what’s right. He is not afraid to speak up or ask for help from adults in very difficult situations in order to help those around him.”

Senior Samantha Eaton was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Angela Stephens. Mrs. Stephens said, “Samantha is a leader on the speech and debate team. She maintains a positive attitude. She is gracious in defeat and success and is quick to thank her coaches and build those on her team.

In addition, she spends countless hours helping organize the procedural aspects of the team. She wants to be a teacher; she will be as inspirational in the classroom as she is on the team. Perhaps her greatest attribute is her ability to see the positive in everyone. She shuts down anyone who negatively talks about students, teachers or administration and is quick to point out the positive.”
