Students of the Week

Freshman Coleman Welsh was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Lindsey James. Mrs. James said, “Coleman spent his availability time in CCR helping some of his classmates with math.”

Coleman was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mr. Levi Jaynes. Mr. Jaynes said, “He is an active participant in class every day. He is also a leader among his peers. On one occasion I had to step out of the class and he went to the board and took over without being asked.”

Freshman Matthew Bernal was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mr. Evan Swanson. Mr. Swanson said, “Matthew has done a complete 180 from the first semester. He has been one of my hardest workers out of all my classes. It is not just myself that has seen this. Other teachers that have him have noticed as well. He has been working hard and been dedicated to his schoolwork while also being incredibly polite. He deserves this recognition and praise for his amazing turnaround.”

Freshman Elliot Obrocto was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Stephanie Hardesty. Mrs. Hardesty said, “Elliot found money on the floor and brought it to me so the owner could be found. It is so nice to see that there are honest people in our school.”

Sophomore Shayla Shoell was nominated as a Student of the Week by Ms. Spring Jones. Mrs. Jones said, “A paraeducator fell down the stairs and Shayla stopped to make sure she was all right. She also helped the paraeducator to pick up her things that went flying when she fell. Finally, she offered to carry the paraeducator’s things for her.”
