This isn’t the first time, the police department has seen this kind of criminal activity. The last reports were back in October of 2021.

The RSPD is asking residents to follow these simple tips:

  • Lock it: Lock your vehicle every time you leave it.
  • Hide it: Hide your valuables in your trunk or other compartments within the vehicle. Ideally, take your property with you.
  • Keep it: Personal responsibility is the best prevention to safeguard personal property and to prevent being a victim.

The RSPD is encouraging residents to report all suspicious activity to the RSPD by calling 307-352-1575.
