Seven Wrestlers Earn All-State

SWEETWATER COUNTY — With the state wrestling tournament in the background, more postseason awards have been announced. The 2020 All-State selections were announced on Tuesday. The list included seven wrestlers from Sweetwater County.

The top two wrestlers from each weight class automatically qualify for the award.

Six wrestlers from the Green River Wolves were named. Thomas Dalton, Kade Flores, Kaden Lloyd, Dominic Martinez, Clayson Mele and Payton Tucker were given All-State recognition. Martinez, Mele and Tucker were all previous All-State recipients in 2019. Martinez and Tucker also won the award in 2018.

Rock Springs’ AJ Kelly was the other wrestler included in the All-State selections.
