The center of a strong winter storm was moving across central Canada this morning. This system will keep moisture and dynamics available across Wyoming today, producing significant snowfall over western Wyoming along with areas of blowing and drifting snow. Strong winds will be noted in the foothlls near Cody and Dubios as well as the area from Rock Springs to Casper. This storm may retain enough energy to keep strong winds going into Monday.
