Stephen Edward Cisneros, 74, of Clearfield, Utah passed away on June 28, 2022, after a long battle of heart conditions.
Stephen was born on June 19, 1948, to Adonocio Cisneros and Mary Cordova in Superior, Wyoming.
On October 3, 1968, Stephen enlisted in the United States Army. Stephen served in the Vietnam War from 1968-1970.
On November 5, 1971, Stephen married Katherine Sue Gil of Denver, CO. They went on to have four children: Michael Cisneros of Rock Springs, WY, Stephen Cisneros of Kearns, UT, Sarah Cisneros of Bountiful, UT, Jesse Cisneros of Kearns, UT. Stephen has six grandchildren: Jayden Cisneros, Hailey Cisneros, Samantha Cisneros, Che’Lozano Jaycee Lozano, Frankie Rodarte.
Stephen enjoyed playing baseball and enjoyed all sports. Stephen was a known proud Denver Broncos fan. He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports growing up and attended all their games loyally.
Stephen went to breakfast every morning at his favorite restaurants and was a loyal regular to these places for many, many years.
Survivors include his wife Kathy Cisneros of Clearfield, UT; one daughter Sarah Cisneros of Bountiful, UT; four sons Michael Cisneros of Rock Springs, WY, Stephen Cisneros of Kearns, UT, Jesse Cisneros of Kearns, UT; six grandchildren: Jayden Cisneros, Hailey Cisneros, Samantha Cisneros, Che’Lozano Jaycee Lozano, Frankie Rodarte; many brothers and sisters, John Cisneros, Felix Cisneros, Rosemary Gallegos, Cecilia Gil, Arturo Cisneros, David Cisneros, Gabriel Cisneros, Joe Cisneros; and many nieces and nephews.
Stephen was preceded in death by his father Adonocio Cisneros, his stepfather Nick Armijo, and his mother Mary Armijo.
A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m. Young at Heart Senior Center 2400 Regan Ave., Rock Springs. Graveside services and inurnment will be in the American Legion Columbarium. Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery 802 Thompson Street, Rock Spring WY.
