RIVERTON — The Green River Wolves spent Friday at the 3A West Conference Cross Country Championships in Riverton.
The top performer for Green River was Nathan Stevenson who took ninth overall in the boys race. Stevenson secured the top ten finish with a time of 17:12.59. Hale Iwen, Shay O’Melia, James Harper and Marcos Mandujano finished the race in 30th, 37th, 48th and 50th respectively.
As a team, the boys finished seventh best with 174 team points.

The Lady Wolves had two top twenty finishers in Isabelle Murdock and Madison Murdock. Isabelle finished 14th with a time of 21:18.13, while Madison finished 17th with a time of 21:30.15. Teammates Lily Murdock, Jayleigh Wright, Jordan Parker, Vanessa Valerio and Meeka Iwen also competed for the Lady Wolves, finishing in 28th, 36th, 40th, 42nd and 43rd respectively.
The Lady Wolves scored 135 team points, which was sixth best in the girls team scores.
This weekend the Wolves cross country team will compete at state in Ethete.
