SWEETWATER COUNTY — The Sweetwater County Commission is scheduled to review bids for the removal and replacement of the Sweetwater County Detention Center’s roof.
The Commission will review a recommendation from the Sweetwater County Public Works Department asking it to approve Big Horn Roofing Inc. for the job at its meeting on Tuesday at 8:30 at the Sweetwater County Courthouse.
Three bids were submitted for the center’s roof replacement project, and Big Horn Roofing Inc., placed the lowest bid at just a little more than $388,000.
The other two bids submitted were from Engineer’s Estimate for $400,000 and All Weather Waterproofing for about $491,000.
Other Business
The commissioners will sign the Certificate of Appointment for newly appointed county treasurer Joseph M. Barbuto. Barbuto was officially appointed as the county treasurer on July 20.
