GREEN RIVER — Theresa Ann Stephens, 59, of Green River, Wyoming passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016, at her home. She was born on June 25, 1957, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, the daughter of John “Jack” Bennett and Angelina Quintana Bennett.
She attended schools in Green River, San Mateo, California and Rock Springs. She graduated from the Aragon High School in San Mateo and attended and graduated from the Western Wyoming Community College and obtained a Associates Degree in Business Machines.
She was employed at Solvay Minerals for many years and worked in Surface Maintenance.
Her interests were quilting, crafting, gardening, and sewing.
Survivors include her parents Jack and Angie Bennett of Green River; one brother John Kenneth Bennett and wife Wendy of Sammamish, Washington; one sister Cloudia Marie Bennett of Rock Springs, Wyoming; several aunts, uncles, cousins, one niece and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by her younger brother John Sosa.
Following cremation, memorial services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 21, 2016, at the Saint John’s Episcopal Church, 320 Mansface, Green River, Wyoming. Friends may call at the church one hour before services.
