LARAMIE — The Rock Springs Tigers joined up with the other 4A swimming and diving teams this week to compete in the 2021 4A State Swimming and Diving Championships.
The team saw two top five finishes. John Spicer ripped through the pool in the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in fifth place with a time of 49.43. The Tigers relay team blazed into fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle relay. John Spicer, Dailen Pederson, Erral Asper and Gunner Seiloff clocked in at 1:33.69.
Rock Springs took eighth place out of the 11 teams in the meet, scoring 68 points as a team. They finished ahead of Cheyenne East, Campbell County and Natrona County.
