Tigers, Wolves Compete at Gillette Invite

GILLETTE — With the final week of the boys swimming and diving regular season, a host of 3A and 4A teams competed at the Gillette Invite over the weekend.

Both Rock Springs and Green River were part of the action. The Wolves finished in eighth with a team score of 183, followed by Rock Springs who came in ninth with 166 team points.

The Wolves saw strong performances from Brady Young who took first in the 500-yard freestyle and fourth in the 200-yard freestyle. The diving team also saw three top ten finishers in Braxton Cordova, River Kirts and Keegan Gailey.

As for the Tigers, John Spicer led the way with placing third in the 50-yard freestyle and fourth in the 100-yard freestyle. Gunner Seiloff also saw top ten finishes, placing sixth in the 50-yard freestyle and fifth in the 100-yard freestyle.
