ROCK SPRINGS – City crews will pick-up: rubbish, old appliances, furniture, tree limbs, etc. (no batteries, tires, air conditioners, or refrigerators) in accordance with the following schedule:
Mon., May 18: Areas on both sides of Elk Street (north of I-80) and areas east of Elk Street and north of UPRR Tracks (south/west of I-80), also, Swanson Drive.
Tues., May 19: Areas south of UPRR to the South Belt Route east of ‘A’ Street, north of Cedar Street, ‘D’ Street, and New Hampshire Avenue.
Wed., May 20: Areas south of UPRR, west of ‘A’ Street, south of Cedar Street, ‘D’ Street, and New Hampshire Avenue, including areas south and west of South Side Belt Route.
Thurs., May 21: Areas west of Elk Street, east of I-80, and north of UPRR.
Fri., May 22: Areas north/west of I-80 and along Foothill Blvd corridor (north of town), and random/late pickups.
Trash must be placed on the street or in the alley by 7:00 a.m. for pickup since our crews are not authorized to enter private property. Tree limbs or scrap lumber should be tied into bundles five (5′) long.
