SWEETWATER COUNTY — As another spring storm makes its way into Wyoming, the United States National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Sweetwater County.
According to the NWS, the advisory will run from Monday, April 11, at 6 p.m. to Tuesday, April 12, at 6 p.m. During this time, residents in Rock Springs, Green River, Flaming Gorge, east Sweetwater County, and south Lincoln County can expect to see 1-3 inches of snow.
“The bulk of the snow is expected to occur through 3 a.m. Tuesday,” the advisory states.
Residents should plan on slippery road conditions and areas of blowing snow.
“The combination of snow and blowing snow could reduce visibility to around a tenth of a mile,” according to the NWS.
