UPDATE — Texas law enforcement located runaway teen, Janessa Cavasos Monday.
After following up on multiple leads, Cavasos (14) was located in Levelland, TX on Monday Feb. 27. RSPD wants to thank everyone who called in tips and information to help locate Cavasos.
UPDATE — The Rock Springs Police Department is still looking for Janessa Cavasos, she is still listed in runaway status. Police are still following up on leads, however, she has not yet been located. ROCK SPRINGS — On Feb. 16, the Rock Springs Police Department initiated an investigation into a report of a runaway.
The investigation revealed Janessa Cavasos, 14 who had failed to return home from school on Thursday afternoon. While the police department continues to pursue leads, Janessa has yet to be located.
Janessa is reported as a 14 year old Hispanic female with long dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is approximately 5 foot 2 inches tall, 103 pounds, and was last seen wearing a pink sweatshirt, blue jeans and a purple backpack.
Anyone with any information concerning Janessa’s location is encouraged to contact the Rock Springs Police Department at 307-352-1575 immediately.
