ROCK SPRINGS – The Sweetwater County School District No. 1 Board will decide whether or not to implement a one-time incentive for certified staff who notify administration they will be leavingĀ at the end of the year.
The one-time, voluntary early notice incentive will be for the first 20 certified staff or administrators providing written notice they will not be returning next year. The incentive isĀ $500. If approved, those who want to take advantage of the incentive must provide written notice to the Human Resource Office by 4 p.m. on March 7.
The incentive is to assist the district in managing the hiring process. Officials said it will benefit students, staff and the district by filling vacant positions at the earliest possible time to attract the most highly qualified candidate.
