Run with the Horses Marathon
Come run with the horses this year at the 12th annual Run with the Horses Marathon brought to you by Green River’s Chamber of Commerce! The event is held in conjunction with the River Festival.
The running starts August 15th at 6:30 am at Expedition Island. This year we are using a professional timing service so runners times will be available right after the race.
Race perks include:
- Wild horses near the route
- A Free T-shirt for all marathon and half marathon signups
- Medals for all finishers
- No time limit
The marathon is only $95 before August 1st and $105 afterward. The half marathon is only $65 before August 1st and $75 afterward. The 10k is $20 with $20 fee for a T-shirt.

River Festival
The River Festival is packed with activities as well as food and drinks everyone will enjoy. Come taste the shrimp boil or enjoy a micro brew while your kids participate in the free kids games. Join the river walk or just relax and listen to the live bands.
