ROCK SPRINGS — Tickets are currently on sale for the Rock Springs Junior High School 8th Grade Formal, which will be held at 7 pm on May 9, 2015 at the Broadway Theater.
The event, which will feature a live DJ, dancing, games, photo opportunities, prizes and snacks, is being organized by 8th grade parents, said Allison Faure, one of the organizers.
Tickets, which are $7 each, can be purchased at Copier & Supply at 432 South Main Street today through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. In addition, tickets will also be sold on April 27 and 28th at the same place, during the same hours.
For parents who are unable to purchase a ticket for their child during those hours, volunteers will also be selling tickets on Wednesday evening from 5-7 pm at Taco Time on Dewar Drive in conjunction with a fundraiser taking place to earn money to put on the event.
The theme of the formal is “Starring the Class of 2019,” organizers said. Parents interested in helping decorate for or chaperone the event should contact Faure at 307-350-0091 or Maggie Spicer at 307-389-4872.
