Vabsi Ibarra and Maggie Taliaferro were nominated as Wolves of the Week by the speech and debate coaches. The coaches said, “These two young ladies compete together in varsity Public Forum Debate. This past weekend they competed at the Silver and Black debate tournament in Salt Lake City. There were more than 70 teams competing in their event from all over the country. They finished with an 8-1 record ending up 8th in the tournament and earning their first of two “legs” needed to qualify for the national Tournament of Champions. Their coaches and team are very proud of their accomplishments.” Green River High School Student and Athlete of the Week

Nathaniel Knight was nominated as a Wolf of the Week by Ms. Terrin Musbach. Ms. Musbach said, “This year at State Drama Nathaniel took first place for his comedic monologue, and was the ONLY Wyoming High School student to receive an All-State in this category. But he didn’t stop there. He also received a Superior ranking in his group musical performance. In this event, he received a second All-State. Nathaniel’s achievements are not surprising though because he is incredibly dedicated to his growth. Your coaches are proud of you Nathaniel and we hope you are proud of yourself.”
