Students of the Week

Junior Andy Gaviotis was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Leesa Kuhlmann. Mrs. Kuhlmann said, “Music is his passion and he shows it by helping other people with their parts. He also keeps time and works with his group as a conductor. I know I can count on Andy to help subs when they come in with warm-ups. I appreciate his dedication to the choirs.”

Freshman Shelbie Whiting was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Tanya Hanson. Mrs. Hanson said, “Shelbie keeps on top of her grades, making sure that she at least has a B. She is also willing to assist other students and has a positive attitude. I have never seen her be negative and she always has a smile on her face.”

Senior Brayden Tolar was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mrs. Melanie Pecolar. Mrs. Pecolar said, “Brayden Tolar came into the school this morning and found a $5 bill on the ground. He could have easily pocketed it but instead turned it in and the girl who lost it was able to have lunch today. She was so grateful that someone turned it in!”

Junior Taylor Sielbach was nominated as a Student of the Week by Mr. Bruce Metz. Mr. Metz said, “Taylor promotes a positive student culture by holding other students accountable, along with providing positive support for her peers.”
