ROCK SPRINGS – The Rock Springs Police Department continues to search for information on the May 1st burglary of the First Choice Ford dealership in Rock Springs. On Friday, the department gave updates on the investigation.

According to Chief Pacheco:

On May 1st, 2016, officers of the Rock Springs Police Department responded to the First Choice Ford dealership at 1264 Dewar Drive for a burglary.

Numerous items were stolen in the burglary including multiple vehicle titles, keys, and other confidential customer information used for financing vehicles. First Choice Ford manager issued a statement ensuring that affected customers would be contacted.

On Thursday, May 5th, most of the items stolen were recovered inside a vehicle at the service bay at the dealership. Officers are still following up on leads at this time and due to the nature of the investigation do not have any further information on the incident.

First Choice Ford is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator in this case.
