This will also mark the beginning of a warming trend that will continue into early next week and aid in snow melt above 9000ft. Additionally, a weak cold front Thursday will generate isolated thunderstorms over northern and central mountains and the Bighorn Basin.

Today: Sunny, with a high near 72. Light and variable wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 45. West wind 6 to 9 mph.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 78. Breezy, with a south-southwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.
