ROCK SPRING – It has been brought to the attention of the Sweetwater Citizens Crime Stoppers that unknown people have been stealing from local charities.

This week Sweetwater Citizens Crime Stoppers is asking the public for information and help in locating anyone who has been stealing from the local religious donation businesses.

Apparently unknown person/persons are taking the items left for donation in the donation boxes during the night, and from the stores during the daytime.

According to one of these non-profit businesses, they are here to help the community.

That if people are truly in need, they can just come in and ask for the help. That is what we are here for.

They went on to say that they would be glad to do what they can, but when people just take things that don’t belong to them, It’s just plain stealing!
