ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs Lady Tigers return to the court this week looking to carry the momentum from an impressive showing at last weekend’s Casper Invite into a pair of 4A Northwest Conference matches.
Rock Springs battled through the tournament at the Ford Wyoming Center and finished the weekend by winning the Silver Bracket championship. The Lady Tigers closed out the tournament with a 2-0 victory over No. 3-ranked Natrona County, winning 25-20 and 25-19 in the championship match.
The Lady Tigers will now turn their attention back to conference play with two matches on the schedule this week.
Rock Springs hosts Riverton on Tuesday, with the varsity match scheduled for 6 p.m. The Lady Tigers will then travel to Cody on Saturday for a 2 p.m. varsity matchup.
The two matches give Rock Springs another opportunity to build on its strong finish in Casper as the Lady Tigers continue through the 4A Northwest Conference schedule.
