I’m a third generation native, coming from a long line of coal miners, oil-fielders, and farmers. I’m a graduate of RSHS and WWCC and spent a decade in the energy industry before moving on to the non profit sector and finally on to owning my own small business.
Born and raised in Rock Springs, WY. I am 37 years old and married to my high school sweetheart Lindsey. We have two children, Karsen (14 years old) and Kynlee (11 years old). We enjoy spending time on the baseball diamond, ice rink or dance studio.
Last July, I was honored to be appointed to fill a vacancy on our Board of County Commissioners. Since then, I have been working hard with my fellow electeds and throughout our community to ensure Sweetwater County is in the best possible position during this very difficult time. I have jumped at every opportunity to push for strong and diverse economic development, sound and fiscally conservative decisions, and a community that collaborates to be strong and viable!
I am currently a member of the Wyoming House of Representatives for House District 48, which lies entirely within the City of Rock Springs, covering roughly the northern and easterly portions of the city.
I am a Rock Springs native from a family who has made their home in Rock Springs for the past six generations. I am an underground miner at Solvay Chemicals and have worked there for the past 14 years. I am the Co-Captain and Benchman for the Solvay Silver Mine Rescue team. In addition I am a co-owner of Square State Brewing Company located in downtown Rock Springs.
I am a 5th generation Wyomingite. I have an agricultural background and was raised in the Bighorn Basin. I served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman and upon being discharge entered the University of Wyoming.
I have been a proud resident of Rock Springs all my life, and I am a third-generation resident of Sweetwater County. My grandparents immigrated to Superior to work in the mines and later moved to Rock Springs.
I am seeking election to Wyoming House District 60. I previously served 5 session in the Legislature and would be honored to be elected to serve Sweetwater County again.
I have lived in Green River for 10 years. When my family and I moved here we fell in love with the community and knew we were home. Green River is an excellent place to raise a family — the schools are great and the people are truly caring.
I am happily married for over 25 years and live in Green River. We had a foster son at the age of 14 years old for only 1 year, however, we stayed in touch over the years.
