ROCK SPRINGS – A sought after Wyoming student-athlete will remain in the state as Douglas Bearcat Eric Jamerman officially signed his letter of intent to play basketball for the Western Wyoming Community College Mustangs.
“We are thrilled that he has decided to be a part of our program moving foward and are excited to see how he and the rest of the Douglas Bearcats do this year,” WWCC Head Coach Ryan Orton said in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Jamerman will follow in his high school coach’s footsteps as Lee Toldson is a alumni of the WWCC men’s basketball program.
As a junior, Jamerman averaged 15.5 points per game while pulling down right around five rebounds a game. An unselfish player, Jamerman also averaged three assists last season. On the defensive side, he finished the year averaging 2.3 steals a game.
In an interview with KTWO, Jamerman said he liked Coach Orton and his staff and believed WWCC was the right place for him to grown both on the court and in the classroom.
