Georgann Besso (July 26, 1933 – October 29, 2021)

Georgann Besso (July 26, 1933 – October 29, 2021)

Georgann Besso, 88, passed away Friday, October 29, 2021, after a brief stay at Hope West Hospice in Grand Junction, CO, with her daughter and the loving team of Hope West by her side.

She was born July 26, 1933, in Rocky Springs, Wy, daughter of Steve and Arlie Radosevich.
Georgann attended schools in Browns Park, UT, and Rock Springs, Wy. She was a 1951 graduate of Rock Springs High School.

She married Charles J Besso in 1954 in Rock Spring, WY. He proceeded her death March 20, 2020.
While raising her family, she was employed as a switchboard operator for Mountain Bell. In 1963, her family moved to the oil camps outside of Rock Springs. Then moving to Grand Junction, CO, in 1968 where she was employed by Tempo Retail store, making life time friends. On the move again in 1978, they went back to Rock Springs where she was employed by Sweetwater County School District #1 as a librarian assistant. After retiring in 1980, Georgann and Chuck retired to Star Valley, Wy, to live several years in their paradise. In 2016, they moved to Fruita, CO, to live their remaining years with her daughter.

What Georgann loved most in life is spending time with family and friends at her beloved Willow Creek Ranch in Browns Park, UT. Where she could hike the hills looking for arrowheads, riding her 4-wheeler and, of course, making sure those heifers were taken care of. She had a sense of humor like no other and her laughter filled the room. She didn’t know a stranger and gave her opinion, asked for or not. Georgann enjoyed crafts, painting, needle point, jumbo crossword and word search puzzles.

Survivors include her one daughter Karla Edwards; son Ron Besso (Brenda); four grandchildren Sydni Edwards (Damon), Blain Besso (Samantha), Kenzie Stauch (Trevor), Rylee Besso and one great grandchild Caden Stauch; one brother Alex Radosevich (Joan); one sister Mary Lou Moser, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Paul Dean Besso, brother, Donald Lindsley and brother-in-law Carl Moser.

Cremation has taken place; Graveside Services and Inurnment will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday June 11, 2022 at the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.
