GREEN RIVER — The Green River High School tennis team hosted a tennis clinic this week for kids in the community, grades first through eighth.
Head tennis coach Phil Harder said there were 70 kids participating in the clinic, with about 20 in each age group. The clinic was spread out through a span of three days at the Green River Rec Center.
The GRHS tennis team helps the kids learn the sport and practice their skills. The clinic has grown quite a bit throughout the past few years. In 2018, there were about 45 kids participating.
Coach Harder said they were ensuring social distancing was being maintained and the high school tennis players were all wearing masks.
