GREEN RIVER – While there are several events and drives that help out the local food bank, it is also time to remember the four-legged residents.

The Green River Animal Shelter is hosting a Pet Food Drive for the Food Bank again this year during the month of May. Last year, the pet food drive brought in approximately 200 pounds of cat and dog food that was donated to the local food bank to assistance pet owners in our community.

Donations can be dropped off at the Green River Animal Shelter or Joe’s Pet Depot in Rock Springs throughout the entire month of May. For more information contact Green River Animal Control at 307-872-0570.
