ROCK SPRINGS – The Rock Springs Lady Tigers hit the pool Friday night but as they looked down the starting blocks, the competition was a little foreign.

The Lady Tigers battled it out against teams from the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, Rock Springs Fire Department and Sweetwater County Fire District No. 1 in the first ever Waves with Heros that took place Friday. While there was swimming and diving, competition included donut relays, a cannonball competition and a belly flop competition to name a few.

In the end, the Rock Springs Lady Tigers were the big winners as all proceeds raised will go help purchase much-needed equipment for the team.
