GREEN RIVER – Despite a little weather, the Rock Springs Lady Tigers continued to roll Saturday morning as they earned a spot in the Southwest Invitational championship game with a 4-1 win over Worland.

The Lady Tigers opened the invite on Friday with a 2-0 record scoring six goals while shutting out their opponents. They continued to find the back of the net on Saturday as Alyssa Graham and Brissa Proa scored goals in the first half. Worland was able to finally break through a stingy defense as the Lady Tigers led after the first, 2-1.

In the second it was all Rock Springs. Alyssa Bedard centered a pass to Kristin McCrann who extended the lead. With seven minutes to go in the game, the Lady Tigers added one more as Delia Griffin got her foot on a loose ball and blasted it past the keeper to give Rock Springs the win.

The Lady Tigers will face Cody in the championship match at 3:30 p.m. The game will be played at Wolves Stadium.
