The 22 images in the exhibit feature landscapes, animals and people, and will be displayed through the end of February. This is one of several community exhibits sponsored by the Sweetwater County Library System, which provides local artists space to share their work with the public.

Artists who submitted their work include Eric Nielsen, Mark Horn, D.J. Dunnigan, Kevin Harper, Harris Foster, Jennifer Foxley Wiberg, Catherine Kielty, Keith Penner, Patrick Newell, Richard Gilmore, Micki Gilmore and Donn Dunnigan.

The public is invited to view the exhibit at the library from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Sweetwater County Library System encourages local and Wyoming artists to display their creative work at both the White Mountain Library in Rock Springs and the Sweetwater County Library in Green River. A committee made up of library staff and community volunteers meet to review applications of interested artists and to schedule community shows. Those interested should pick up an application packet at any of the libraries, or contact Debora Soule at the Community Fine Arts Center.

The Sweetwater Photography Open is sponsored by the Sweetwater County Library System. For more information about these exhibits and other library events, visit the Library System web page sweetwaterlibraries.com or on Facebook facebook.com/sweetlibraries.
