Rock Springs Chamber delivers customers to retailers with free shuttle service during National High School Finals Rodeo

ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce will be bringing business to the front door of local merchants during the National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR). Contestants and their families will be provided a FREE shuttle, beginning July 12th and running through July 19th between the hours of Noon and 5:00 p.m.

The route begins at the entrance of the Main Exhibit Hall of the Sweetwater County Events Complex. Stops along the route include Smith’s, the White Mountain Mall, Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply, The Home Depot, Boot Barn, Wal-Mart, Plaza Mall and Bank Court in downtown Rock Springs. The shuttle will complete the route in one hour, returning to the Sweetwater Events Complex. The Rock Springs Chamber is dedicated to the success of Rock Springs and its economy, and this is one more example of their continued efforts to maximize business with the simplest of approaches.

In 2012, the economic impact of the NHSFR was $7.6 million dollars. 2013 saw an economic impact of $8.3 million. This event is a heavyweight contender in the local economy, so getting those dollars through doors of local retailers is imperative.
