ROCK SPRINGS – So many times our local young people’s talents go unnoticed by many. Recently, a group of Rock Springs Junior High wood working students were able to showcase what they could do for a larger group of spectators.

Recently RSJH wood working students competed in the state Technology Student Association competition on Casper. The event hosted students from all across Wyoming who competed in events such as CO2 car racing and rocketry as well as showcasing student projects that were built in class.

Kaden Marsh placed first in the rocketry challenge, Courtney Smith won Best of Show for her basketball shelf, Kyle Pierce placed first in the showcase challenge with his acrylic pen and Dakota Knezovich placed second and third with his Cajun box drum and sheet metal toolbox.
