SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Rocky Mountain Power’s parent company, MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company, now ranks No. 1 in the U.S. in overall customer satisfaction, thanks to large commercial and industrial customers.
According to TQS Research, Inc., Rocky Mountain Power had one of the highest scores among utilities in the U.S. with 95 percent of customers surveyed saying they were very satisfied. This is the highest score the company has achieved to date in the benchmark and contributed to the No. 1 ranking of MidAmerican Energy Holdings Company. This year’s ranking continues Rocky Mountain Power’s decade-long history of consistently ranking among the top electric utilities nationally in large industrial customer satisfaction.
TQS Research, Inc. is an Atlanta-based independent research firm that polls large commercial and industrial customers of electric utility holding companies for overall satisfaction. The annual TQS benchmark survey of approximately 49 of the largest electric utility holding companies measures performance in areas such as energy efficiency, account management, reliability, price, handling customer contacts, and company image.
Rocky Mountain Power’s two sister utilities, Pacific Power and MidAmerican Energy Company, also scored high in the survey, at 95.7 percent and 95.4 percent, respectively.
