ROCK SPRING– Rock Springs High School Hall of Fame inductee Lieutenant Colonel Shane Reeves wrote a letter to the City of Rock Springs to thank the community for supporting the events that took place during the Hall of Fame induction.

“To the City of Rock Springs,
This past weekend I was honored, and deeply humbled, to be inducted into the Rock Springs High School Hall of Fame. I wanted to say “thank you” to the entire community for supporting such a great weekend of events.
In particular the banquet on Saturday night was exceptionally well-done and I cannot fully express my gratitude to all of you who organized, planned, and attended the dinner.
While I still believe my induction must be some sort of administrative mistake (or the school contacted the wrong Shane Reeves) I am immensely grateful for such an enjoyable homecoming.
Walking through the high school, re-connecting with old friends, and driving around town reminded me how
fortunate I was to grow up in Rock Springs.
However, I also realized that Rock Springs is not just the place that I grew up, but will always remain my home. Again, thanks for letting me be a part of such a wonderful celebration.
