GREEN RIVER — The Sweetwater County School District No. 2 Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday evening to hear a presentation on the start of the new school year and discuss meal price increases.
The back to school presentation will discuss the first day back for staff, open house schedules, reminders before the first day and general school safety. The presentation can be found here.
Trustees will also discuss price increases for breakfast and lunches served in the district. Agenda documents state that due to the increase of food and non-food supplies from inflation, it became necessary to adjust the meal price $.25 for student meals and $.50 for adult meals.
The request for proposal results for the Green River High School Career and Technical Education renovations will be consider for approval. Trustees will also have the third and final reading of 17 policies.
