When it comes to the state’s shutdown orders, most residents are just trying to figure out how to move forward in what could be the most trying period of their life so far.
What we do know is in Wyoming, from the first confirmed patient on March 11 and Governor Gordon’s Emergency Declaration on March 13, to the closing of schools and public businesses and spaces shortly thereafter, and the uncertainty for many when they will open back up, this pandemic has changed our communities forever.
We have seen the best from some, as they pull together to support local businesses and local seniors, and we’ve also seen these times divide others as they disagree with the cause or the solution.
SweetwaterNOW partnered with Wyoming freelance photojournalist Nadav Soroker this past week to document, during this time, the beautiful place we call home. Thank you Nadav.
