SWEETWATER COUNTY — The United States National Weather Service (NWS) Riverton Office has issued a special weather statement for Sweetwater County through Wednesday for snowy conditions.
According to the statement, Sweetwater County residents can expect to see periods of light snow starting this afternoon through Wednesday, March 10. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches of snow are expected.
“Area roads will become slick or snow covered late this evening through Wednesday morning,” the NWS states.
Temperatures are also anticipated to decrease as the snow storm makes its way into Wyoming. Today it will be partly sunny, with a high near 42 degrees, while on Wednesday residents can expect a high around 35 degrees. For the complete forecast, click here.
